ALTO Aviation HA-006 six channel headphone amplifier was selected to distribute XM radio to four cabin seat locations in a King Air C90 aircraft.
ALTO DECU headphone keypads with volume control are used to select four independent XM channels. The ALTO HA-006 also provides PA override, so passengers listening to music with noise canceling headsets can hear important safety announcements from the crew.
Two ALTO headphone keypads were also installed in the cockpit for the crew to also listen to any of the 4 channels of XM radio selected by the passengers.
